im a guy and my hair is a little above my shoulber blade any way i can pull this off? can i have a step by step? also and i don't want to cut my hair.

Blow your hair smooth, using a flat iron if necessary. Backcomb (tease or rat) your hair at the roots a little on the front sides and a lot on the top. Using a brush, smooth your hair over the backcombing. The sides should go straight back and the top will go up and back. It helps if you spray the backcombing a bit with hair spray as you backcomb and then again when you're finished smoothing.
