It all depends on what the both of you want. If it's getting to be too much for you to take care of, you could put it in a braid (regular or french), so that way it won't get tangled so much. My best friend and I have had really long hair like that since we were kids, and still do. Her mom kept hers in a braid, and my mom kept mine in either one or two ponytails. If your daughter doesn't know already, maybe you could teach her how to use a ponytail holder thingy. That way she can leave her hair down in school and put it up when it's recess time. With hair that long, she probably has a lot of other kids playing with it. I was always having kids play with mine. lol If you get her hair cut, she'll probably miss that. But in the longrun, it's all up to what the two of you decide. If you do decide to cut it though, don't lop it all off at once. It's best to go a few inches each time. That way she can adapt to the new length little by little and it won't be as traumatic for her. Hope this helps. =)

Thats okay...

You should ask her if she wants it cut or not...

My daughter hair is growing to long?

I think it's beautiful. Why not ask her what she thinks? If you think that it's getting to be too much for you, why not have her participate in caring for her hair.

My daughter hair is growing to long?

Depends. Is it getting too hard to take care of? Is it thick and making her head sweat? Does it get in her way? If so, cut it. If not and you guys enjoy brushing it and whatnot, leave it!

Trim the ends to keep her hair healthy but let her be the girl with the beautiful long hair. No one will ever forget her.

My daughter hair is growing to long?

it will hafta depends if u think she looks good with long or short hair.

My daughter hair is growing to long?

don't be scared to cut it, b/c it'll grow back.

My daughter hair is growing to long?

I think it looks pretty. Make sure to get it trimmed every so often, but I wouldn't change it.

My daughter hair is growing to long?

just trim it. dont get it cut, just trim it so she doesnt get split ends.

My daughter hair is growing to long?

No, if she likes it, let her grow it out. My hair was probably the same length when I was seven. I haven't cut it since then. (It's a lot longer now) and I like it that way.

It's beautiful! I'd keep it trimmed at least. Use conditioner after every wash. Only cut it if you and your daughter have talked about it. If you do, donate the hair. Check with your local cancer society and find out where you may donate. Someone would love to wear a beautiful wig made of your daughter's hair. God Bless.

her hair it's cute

but i think

that all in excesses is bad!

cut it!

My daughter hair is growing to long?

If she is able to take care of her OWN hair, then let her keep it. If she isn't, then cut it. It's just that simple.

My daughter hair is growing to long?

I think, she is at an age where she is old enough to make the decision on that. By the way, that is the oldest 7 year old that I have ever seen.

My daughter hair is growing to long?

My daughter hair is growing to long?

Please ask your daughter how she feels first. My mother cut my hair between kindergarden and 1st grade. My hair was long and I liked it. I was very tramatized by having my hair cut short.

My daughter hair is growing to long?

It all depends. When I was in Kindergarten my hair was down to my back. I was afraid to cut it. If you daughter likes it long and its okay with you then leave it. But if you think it gets in the way of thins or is too hard for her to take care of, then cut it. But you might want to ask her before you do anything. Personally, I think its ok. Most seven-year olds hair is about that long. Maybe a little shorter. You could get it trimmed.

It looks so cute, ask her. But just in case if

you dont leave it, you can cut it and give it to people with cancer . Its a Beauty salon, you could go 2 this website...

to me, I would take into consideration how thick her hair is. If it is thin, it will look stringy and not cute. I would cut her hair to about sholder length and with long layers.

The key is that the hair is healthy. If There are too many split ends, cut it short and start from scratch. Then, to grow it long, cut it every 3 months to keep it healthy.

What is easier for you %26amp; your daughter. I loved my daughters' long hair but when it gets to where it's more work it's usually time. My older daugher hates having her hair brushed - refuses to wear ANYTHING in it at all, no pony no barrette no nothing! So she needs it short in the back (otherwise she gets rats in it just from sleeping on it) but she likes it long in the front so she can put it behind her ears.

My younger daughter LOVES her long princess hair %26amp; loves to wear it a different way every day. She loves all things girly %26amp; keeping it in braids seems to keep it from getting knotted. Good luck! Her hair looks really beautiful by the way.
