Whenever I want a change, I cut my own hair. I used to have waist-length, straight brunette hair, and my hair is pretty thick.

I cut it short and it puffed out so it doesn't look too great. : /

Anyway, don't cut it much farther up than your shoulders. It'll puff up a bunch.
